Profile= Closely related to the Geoffroy's Cat
Habitat= forest, coniferous forest, wooded areas, and semi-open habitats.
Behavior= hunts by night, from the ground though it is an excellent climber. Rarely seen in the wild.
Status= With such a small range in Chile and Argentina, they are currently threatened by serious habitat destruction.
Diet= small rodents and birds.

Location= Argentina and Chile


Color= buff or gray-brown, small round spots. Black (melanistic) are quite common with kodkods. O.g. Guigna is smaller and more brightly colored while the O.g. Trigillo is paler.
Gestation= 72 - 78 days
Litter Size= 1 - 3
Longivity= up to 11 years
